Once you register, you will receive immediate registration submission of the course. Please read submission email in its entirety.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS HeartCode Courses:
Teammates may register directly through the Life Support Education website at www.wakehealth.edu/lse. Once registered, teammates are required to complete the assigned online portion of the course and then attend a one‑hour, in‑person skills checkoff. You will receive the online education at least 24 hours after you register in a second email from elearning.heart.org.
Teammates eligible for HeartCode courses include, but are not limited to:
NRP:
You will receive the following email a few days after you register for an NRP date. Register well before you expire in order to receive your email in time.
You have been successfully added to the NRP Learning Platform. You will receive an email from [email protected] asking you to verify your account.
Learners must verify their accounts on the NRP LP.
*Learning cannot be assigned until the NRP LP account is verified.

After your NRP account has been verified you will receive an additional email from [email protected] containing the link to your online education.
Once learning has been started you must complete the skills class within 90 days.
Prior to taking the exam, participants should read the comprehensive instructional textbook (available in Life Support Education, Winston campus), The Neonatal Resuscitation Textbook, 9th Edition. Participants MUST complete the NRP exam online prior to attending class. The online test is challenging, and preparation (reading the book) is important if you want to be successful.
