Beginning January 5, 2026
Teammates who require Life Support Education must maintain current RQI eCredentials as outlined in their job descriptions, delineation of privileges, or applicable program requirements.
Teammates who are not assigned RQI training after the go‑live date may request access by enrolling through Workday Learning and completing the Introduction to RQI module. Registration requests for any courses other than the Introduction to RQI module will not be approved and will be denied.
ACLS and PALS Fundamentals Courses
ACLS and PALS Fundamentals courses are designed for teammates who are new to ACLS and/or PALS. This is a four‑hour, instructor‑led course intended to support learners as they navigate complex learning scenarios and foundational course content.
All teammates must register through the Introduction to RQI Module and select a date and time to complete the instructor‑led portion of the course. After completing the required online portion, teammates will have two quarters from the time of enrollment to complete the instructor‑led session.
These courses are offered at all Wake facilities.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS HeartCode Courses
Teammates may register directly through the Life Support Education website at www.wakehealth.edu/lse. Once registered, teammates are required to complete the assigned online portion of the course and then attend a one‑hour, in‑person skills checkoff.

The OB Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support is designed for healthcare providers who direct or participate in the resuscitation of pregnant and postpartum women. In this blended learning course, participants will enhance their skills in managing obstetric emergencies utilizing a standardized team approach to improve safety and positively affect maternal/fetal outcomes.
You must have completed BLS and register through Introduction to RQI for ACLs as well for the course date and time.
